One of the most vivacious performers in Atlanta, my dear friend, Angela Reign, headlined the historic Chick Singer Night 25th Anniversary Concert. Chick Singer Night is the world's longest-running talent showcase, with chapters throughout the U.S. and in Sweden. Norah Jones, Sheryl Crow and Paula Cole have performed in past Chick Singer Night shows.

Eat, Drink and Bao

Yum Bunz, a new restaurant on the Westside, serves fresh food fast! The menu is inspired by an ancient Chinese delicacy dating back almost 2,000 years – the Bao – which is a yeast dough bun filled with vegetables or meat or something sweet, and steamed.

The Bao at Yum Bunz is made with old-fashioned yeast & white flour for a slightly sweet and pillow-soft dough.

Each Bao contains less than 180 calories, has less than 3 grams of fat and is low in sodium. It is cooked with the pure, intense heat of steam, as steaming better preserves the flavor and texture of the food without any added fat or calories. Cooking the buns in Chinese steamers retains valuable nutrients and moisture, which results in light and healthy buns.

Yum Bunz, however, is more than just Bao, serving Phở (Vietnamese noodle soup), dumplings, bowls, soups & salads. Committed to sourcing local, the menu has been carefully crafted, using only the freshest ingredients: from naturally raised meats and locally grown vegetables to sauces hand-crafted from healthy oils and herbs.

Vegetarian and gluten-free items are available and beverage options include Thai coffee and tea.  Asian beer, wine, sake and a signature mango and kaffir lime frozen margarita are also available.

Yum Bunz is a true value, as menu items are $8 and under.  For more information, visit www.yumbunz.com.  Even better ... plan on dining there, your taste buds will be glad you did!
